Potchefstroom currently has a very large demand for residential units and in the last year potential buyers had to be placed on a waiting list due to no supply. The low interest rates climate has resulted in some people having more disposable income after paying off their short-term debt. They are now using the funds to get into the property market. Potchefstroom on its own is a big market, as there are always people who are searching for residential property.
